**Beef Tenderloin per lb

I have never cooked a filet mignon before, only a 5 pound tenderloin. I ordered the one pound and thought it would be long and thin, instead it was short and very thick and tall! Cut it in half, marinated it and then cooked it in my pan on the stove. It was not tall or thick enough to put in the oven to finish, it finished right in the pan and it was THE BEST I've ever had and I am a filet mignon snob, haha! Ordering again today!

I love to make beef kabobs with this. It is so good that you don't need to put anything other than salt and pepper if you like. I also like to use it as filet mignon. So yummy!
